Sequoyah National Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in Whittier, North Carolina, near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park about 50 miles west of Asheville.
The Sequoyah National Golf Course first opened for play in 2009. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Notah Begay III.
The course was built as an up-scale addition to Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel.
Par for the Sequoyah National Golf Club golf course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6602 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2328 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 546 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 161 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 234 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Sequoyah National Golf Course is # 14, a 341 yard par-4.

THIS COURSE WILL BE GREAT IN TIME! YOU HAVE BREATHTAKING VIEWS ANY WHERE ON THE COURSE. GREENS WERE NOT GREAT ON A FEW HOLES BUT THEY ARE VERY YOUNG! GREAT JOB CHEROKEES

I got a good price and it fit the condition of the course. It is a new course and needs maturing time. I would not pay $80 now but will be worth it in couple of years. I would hate to be on some of the cart paths if it was wet. Great views.

In time this should be one of the best courses in this area. The views our outstanding. Mr Jones did and outsanding job designing this course.
